The Fox and The Wise Man (A Short Story)
Once a Wise Man saw a fox in the wood
Alas ! The fox ran and concealed as a blink of an eye.
The Wise Man’s heart was very heavy, for he was not meant to kill but only seek a company
Thus the Wise Man shouted at very loud : “Dearest friend, hearken my plead!” “ My manner as honest & gentle as a manner possibly could be”
“I believe that you are such a friend I am sure not to be forgotten by myself in the course of age. And I would again say that you are such beauty I’ve never seen like. I too am quite delighted to a solitary. Yet to you I feel like something you loaded inside my heart, which the heat of my heart gaining in strength. Thus if given a chance…. would you be my friend?”
The Wise Man waited a friendly face to appear
Yet none a face came
